BIRTHS

NATHALIE CUNDY nee Bouziotas (pupil until 1996). Thank you to Annamaria Heard nee Bouziotas (pupil 1992 - 1994) who wrote to say, “My sister Nathalie Cundy nee Bouziotas and her husband David are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their son Louis Redford Cundy born August 25th 2012. We visited them last weekend at their new home in Wimbledon and had a lovely family time. I am finally an Aunt!”

GEORGINA BOTTRIELL nee Taylor (pupil 1987 - 1998) MARK BOTTRIELL (pupil 1996 - 1998) Congratulations to Georgina and Mark on the birth of their son William Henry Bottriell, who arrived at 23.50 on the 6th May 2012, weighing in at 8lb 7oz. Both mother and baby are doing fine and Georgina and Mark are so thrilled that he is here.

KATHRYN MIDDLETON nee Cousins (pupil 1987 - 1995) Congratulations to Katy and husband Anthony, on the birth of their daughter Iris, who was born 1st March 2012. Katy is keeping really well and says, “It’s all go here, I can’t believe how much my world has been turned upside down!”

GEORGINA DYER, nee Sim (pupil 1985 - 1990) “Our daughter Eryn Georgia Dyer was born on 6th June 2011. She is calm and peaceful (usually!) and Joshua, who is three and a half years old, is really lovely with his little sister.” Georgina and Keith Dyer

JONATHAN WRAY (pupil 1984 - 1991) “Jon and Vicky Wray are delighted to announce the arrival of their twins Daniel (6lb 4oz) and Sophie (5lb 1oz) on September 21st in Bury St Edmunds, a new brother and sister for Ella. The ‘Twix’ in Mummy’s tummy have now been transformed into real live babies! Vicky is, of course, on maternity leave from her teaching post with her hands well and truly full. Jon works at a large veterinary referral practice near Cambridge and lectures quite often at Lisbon and Nottingham universities and various veterinary conferences.” Joyce Wray (former teacher).

EMMA RINGER nee CROSSLEY (pupil 1996 - 1997) Congratulations to Emma (former ORA Deputy Chairman and Current Committee Member) and her husband Dan on the birth of their son Alfie James Martin Ringer, who was born on February 24th 2009. Alfie, who bounced in at 8 pounds 4 ounces, is a brother to Sasha.

MATTHEW WRAY (pupil 1978 - 1986) Congratulations to Matthew and his wife Carole, who adopted a Chinese baby in March. Due to stringent adoption rules and regulations, all was not finished until October, but Thomas Ho Wan Wray is now leggally and irrevocably theirs. He is a dleight and they and sister Amelie are over the moon, living and working in Hong Kong.

JONATHAN WRAY (pupil 1984 - 1991) Congratulations to Jon and Vicky, on the birth of their daughter, born in Bury St Edmunds on June 27th and weighing six and a half pounds. Jon is now on the staff of Bristol University Veterinary School, though Vicky is still in Bury St Edmunds until the house is sold. Fortunately, they were together for the birth!

EMMA RINGER nee Crossley (Pupil 1996 - 1997) Congratulations to Emma and her husband, Dan, on the birth of their daughter Sasha Ruth Eva Ringer, who was born on Thursday 26th July 2007 at 15:02 by emergency c-section.

ANDREW ROSS (Pupil 1976 - 1988) Congratulations to Andy and his wife, on the birth of their son Oliver Sebastian Ross, who was born on 8 September 2004, at 3pm, in St Mary’s Hospital Paddington. Weight 3.41kg/7lb 7oz. Mum & baby are doing very well.

ALEX STONE (Pupil 1977 - 1988) Congratulations go to Alex and his wife Rachel, on the birth of their daughter, Annabel Constance, who was born 14th October 2003. Annabel is a sister for Thomas.

IAN TIMMS (Pupil 1974 – 1987) Best wishes go to Ian and Simone Timms, on the birth of their son, Jack, who was born 1st September 2003, in Sydney. Jack is a brother for Oliver.

ROBERT De GIDLOW (Pupil 1979 – 1984) Robert and Claire de Gidlow celebrate the birth of their son, William John Samuel, who was born 22nd April 2003 in Watford. William is a brother for Georgia.

MATTHEW WRAY (Pupil 1978 – 1986) Congratulations go to Matthew and Carole Wray, on the birth of their daughter Amélie, who was born 31st January 2003, at the American Hospital in Paris.

GREGORY DEAN (Pupil until 1996) Congratulations to Greg and Lindsey, on the birth of their daughter Maya Sophia, who weighed in at 8lb 11oz.

IAN TIMMS (Pupil 1974 - 1987) Congratulations to Ian and Simone, on the birth of their third son, Louis, who is a new brother for Oliver and Jack.

ANDREW PRICE (Pupil 1982 – 1992) Congratulations to Andy and his wife Becky, on the arrival of their son, Ethan, who was born the 25th March 2007.

MARCUS REDDY (Pupil 1974 – 1986) Congratulations to Committee Member Marcus and his wife Kiran, on the birth of their second child, a daughter named Serena, who was born on the 15th February 2006.

JULIA SMADJA - nee Smith, (Pupil 1978 – 1980) Thank you to Julia’s father, Old Rydeian Brian Smith, (pupil 1941 – 1950), who sent the news that his granddaughter, Chlöé Lilah, was born to Julia and Eric in Paris, 16th November 2005.

JAMES MORTIMORE (Pupil 1976 - 1986) James and his wife, Sandra, are delighted to announce the arrival of their son Jack Christian, who was born 18th June 2005. Jack is a baby brother for Holly.

GEORGINA DYER (nee Sim pupil 1985 - 1990). Congratulations to Georgina and Keith, on the recent addition to their family. Here is a compilation of Georgina’s recent emails.
“I hope you are well and life is good on the Island. Just thought I would e-mail you to let you know Keith and I have moved to Stroud, Gloucestershire. Also thought you might like to know that baby Joshua was born on 25th February 2008, hence the move to the country - much more child friendly with fields and woods to play in!
We are settling into life with Joshua, who is delightful and definitely going to be tall like his parents!”
