CAREER MENTOR

We need your support to make this scheme work. The aim is to have a pool of older ORA members who are willing to help the younger ones realise their potential.

When leaving university, or deciding on the career path to embark upon, it is often very useful to be able to speak to someone who has experience in that field.  We are not asking ORA members to organise work experience for people or give them jobs.  We are simply asking established members to volunteer to be available for younger members to contact and talk to about their proposed career or study path. The Scheme will only work, however, if we have volunteers prepared to respond to an e-mail or spare five minutes on the telephone.

Please ask yourself how useful it would have been, when you were at University, if you could have spoken to someone already doing what you were dreaming about.

If you are willing to have your name added to the Career Mentors list, please let us know.
